Mariposa Academy list of interest for Kinder School Year 2022-2023 will open on Tuesday, January 18th and close on February 4th, 2022. If you would like to place your child's name on the list of interest please contact the school office at (775) 826-4040. Community Opportunity
Promotion picture day is coming up for our Kinder and 5th grade students! Order sheets will be coming home this week. Picture day will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022. You can also prepay online. All student in Kinder and 5th grade will have their picture taken. (Regular uniform day) Please remember to not put student's hair up in ponytail, buns, etc. Students will be wearing a graduation cap and this makes it hard.
¡Se acerca el día de la foto de promoción para nuestros estudiantes de Kinder y 5to grado! Las hojas de pedidos llegarán a casa esta semana. El día de la foto será el martes 18 de enero de 2022. También puede prepagar en línea. A todos los estudiantes de Kinder y 5to grado se les tomará una foto. The enrollment deadline for the 22-23 school year is rapidly approaching. If you haven’t returned the Student Verification Form and you are planning on your student attending Mariposa Academy for the 22-23 S.Y., please make sure to return the blue packet ASAP. (This only applies to students who are currently enrolled at Mariposa.) Please contact the office with any questions or concerns.

Familias, Es IMPORTANTE que ayude a seguir nuestros planes escolares. 1. Los estudiantes deben usar una máscara para ir a la escuela, las familias deben proporcionarle al igual que otros útiles escolares, como uniformes. Families, we want to be able to have our school open for students to learn and continue with healthy habits for all. It is IMPORTANT that you help to follow our school plans.
1. Students must wear a mask to school, families need to provide this just like other school supplies such as uniforms. We have some masks when students forget but not enough to provide daily masks for students.
2. If ANYONE in the home or a direct contact has been tested for COVID and you are waiting results, students MUST STAY HOME until you get results.
3. Students must be SYMPTOM FREE AND MEDICINE FREE for 24 HOURS to come to school.

Calling all 2nd and 3rd grade families: Come to STEAM night on January 11. 2nd grade at 5:30 and 3rd grade at 6:15.

Dear Mariposa families,
On Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 we will be sending home enrollment forms for the 2022-2023 school year for currently enrolled students in grades K-4th.
Deadline for current student to re-enroll for the 2022-2023 school year is Friday, January 14th, 2022. Please review the student census verification form sent home and return no later than Friday, January 14, 2022(more instructions on packet).

The Washoe County Health Department will be offering COVID Vaccine for children ages 5-11yrs ONLY this week at the following WCSD schools: (Note: This information is shared to Mariposa families as a community resource)

Happy New Year, we are so excited for 2022 at Mariposa! Remember that school starts at 8am and it is important that if students are not feeling well they stay home.
