On Monday, our neighbor will be having some construction work done that will limit access on our street. Please be patient with their traffic support team and follow our drop off and pick up procedures. Also, DO NOT GET IN LINE BEFORE 2:50pm as there will not be room on the street due to the construction. We will run pick up line as long as needed until all students are picked up.
Mariposa Language and Learning Academy is expanding and we have open seats for kindergarten and first grade for the 25-26 school year! Come and be a part of our amazing school community! Call the office at (775) 826-4040 for information!

Attendance matters....Mariposa had an amazing attendance rate day today with over 90% of students being at school and on time! Way to go!!!!

We are so excited to announce that our loan was closed on Friday, November 22nd and Mariposa now owns our school property and building! We will be having an event at our school tomorrow (12/2) afternoon where our students will be given the keys to the school! We will have lots of community guests and lawmakers attend this event. Please DO NOT get in the pick up line on the street early as it will block in our guests! Please ONLY BEGIN GETTING IN LINE ON THE STREET AT 2:50pm! We will run the pick up line late until 3:25pm that day. Thank you so much and we are so excited about the next steps for our school. ~Mrs. Hunt
Estamos muy emocionados de anunciar que nuestro préstamo se cerró el viernes 22 de noviembre y Mariposa somos ahora dueños de la propiedad y el edificio de nuestra escuela! Tendremos un evento en nuestra escuela mañana (2 de diciembre) por la tarde, donde nuestros estudiantes recibirán las llaves de la escuela! Tendremos muchos invitados de la comunidad y legisladores que asistirán a este evento. NO se ponga en la fila de recogida en la calle temprano, ya que bloqueará a nuestros invitados! Tomorrow K-6th will be going on a all school field trip to the Pioneer Center to watch the Peanutcracker, don't forget to dress fancy or wear your Mariposa school uniform.
